Business Analyst
Position: Business Analyst
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €36,000
Cloud Infotech is looking for a passionate and self-motivated ‘Business Analyst’ with an agile
development background. We are hiring an Agile Business Analyst with exceptional facilitation skills to lead business & impact analysis and requirements engineering in one of our IT development teams. Experience of facilitating within Agile/Scrum is essential, as the role is accountable for running group sessions to deliver high quality documentation on user stories, product backlogs, workflows and processes while supporting our iterative delivery strategy. The Business Analyst will work collaboratively with Scrum team members (Developers, QA, Scrum Master) as well as engaging Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders and playing an active role in the wider Business Analysis community.
Key Responsibilities

Supports both the transition of new engagements into Operate and the enhancement of existing engagements, with post go live support - Understanding of quality control processes
- Understanding of data reports and data visualisation (e.g. experience with data visualisation tools)
- Preparing business requirements, documenting ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes and delivering process flows
- Experience of making prompt and practical business decisions
- Stakeholder management of relationships/expectations
- Writing and designing process maps whilst working closely with both the project teams and the relevant business LoS to ensure processes are fully understood and documented
- Time management activity feeding into delivery planning
- Leads in the creation of Standard Business Operating Procedures and Processes at a detailed level
- Leads in the review of assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and identifies operational, financial and technological risks as well as identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, target operating model/FTE calculations
- Coordinating project input and change management
- Writing process documentation
- User experience understanding
Skills required
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience is must.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Prior experience/knowledge of multi-cloud and serverless architecture
- Experienced in creating user stories and acceptance criteria using iterative planning techniques
- Strong track record of facilitation with multiple, diverse stakeholder groups
- Proactive in taking ownership and responsibility
- Experience of working with enterprise level systems
- Employing flexibility and pragmatism in approach to work and communications
- Confident and tenacious with senior stakeholders and technical staff
- Process-improvement orientation; putting forward and implementing ideas for improving processes and practices

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership and manage projects that vary in size and scope depending on requirements for teams enabling Continuous Integration and automation of service integration, delivery, and deployments. - Design and develop industry impacting services using open source and commercial technologies at scale
- Manage and allocate tools, accelerators, frameworks, templates and other asset related to engineering productivity and quality that enable service delivery.
- Build & Set up test automation and pipeline frameworks in OpenShift/Kubernetes environments
- Administer automated CI/CD systems and tools for development and test teams.

- Collaboration and Sharing: Collaborating with cross functional teams and finding opportunities to automate their requirements early in the development lifecycle.
- Sharing your knowledge and solutions within the DevOps community to maximise efficiencies and standardization
- Automation: Designing, enhancing and implementing reusable CI (Continuous Integration)&CD (Continuous Delivery) solutions using industry best current practices.
- Operations: Monitoring and ensuring smooth operation of production and test environments by building dynamic dashboards and alerting rulesets

Skills required
- In addition to your strong verbal and written communication skills, you'll possess minimum 8+ years of experience.
- Experience with setting up and running Infrastructure
- Strong programming experience with one of the programming languages like python, Java, Golang, Shell Script.
- Working knowledge of building automation to deploy infrastructure and exposure with CI/CD tools and continuous integration
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as Xen, KVM, and VMWare
- Experience setting up application monitoring using tools like Grafana
- Experience working with Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Helm etc
- Experience with PostgreSQL Databases
- Experience with Docker deployments (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
- Extensive hands-on experience with administrating GitLab, jFrog Platform, Jira, Confluence
- Excellent knowledge and applied experience of version control systems (e.g GitLab) and modern version control for use in continuous deployments
- Experience writing unit, functional and integration tests
